Eminem Competition

3rd Place finish in a global Eminem competition on Creative Allies where I was tasked with recreating the album artwork of a past album that Eminem has released. I have deeply explored the album 'Relapse' after careful consideration over which album to recreate a cover for and I believed that with the nature of the album, having just come out of rehabilitation and the general 'dark' nature throughout in songs such as 3AM, I saw a variety of ways that I could approach it. I wanted to depict Eminem in his earlier days walking away from this 'dark' place that he's been through and leaving it behind whilst also, at the same time, being relevant to the nature of the album. Everything was originally hand sketched before being mastered digitally so to create the scratched look that I decided to go for. I was also featured on Eminem's official Facebook page as one of his favourites!
